English Translation

One day, Ravi was playing with his younger sister. While playing, he took his sister's toy. She did not like it. When Dad came home, Ravi told him everything. Dad smiled, and Ravi felt happy thinking, “Dad does not scold me.” The next day at school, a child made a mistake in the classroom. The teacher explained to Ravi that “Teachers scold children when they make a mistake.” But the teacher also taught the children how to correct their mistakes. In the evening, Ravi was talking with his elder and younger sisters. When the younger sister told a lie, the elder sister corrected her and said, “An elder sister scolds her younger sister when she tells a lie.” At night, Dad gave Ravi some good advice. Ravi understood, “Dad scolds the child lovingly.” He learned that correcting a mistake should be done with love rather than anger.
