ಒಂದು ಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರವಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಅವರು ನದಿಯ ಬಳಿ ಆಟವಾಡಲು ಹೋದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಸಣ್ಣ ಕಲ್ಲು ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದೆ. ಎಂದು ರವಿ ಗಮನಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನು ಆ ಕಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು.

ರವಿ ಕಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿದನು. ಎಂದು ಅವನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ರವಿ ಕಲ್ಲನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ, ಕಲ್ಲು ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

English Translation

Ravi and his friends lived in a village. One day, they went to play near the river. There, Ravi noticed a small stone. “The stone is on the ground,” he observed. He picked up the stone in his hand.

His friends said, “Ravi picked up the stone.” Looking at it, Ravi said, “The stone is hard.”

Then everyone walked near the river. They saw stones of many colors and shapes. Sita happily said, “The children saw stones near the river.”

There were also old stone houses in their village. The elders explained to the children how those houses had been built. Ravi learned, “They built a beautiful house with stone.”

The children learned many new things about nature by looking at the stones. In the evening, everyone happily returned home.
