English Translation

One day, Ravi went to the garden with his grandfather. There he saw a cow eating green grass. Ravi was happy to see it. He said, “The cow eats grass.” Near a bush, there was a rabbit. Grandfather said, “The rabbit eats a carrot.” In front of the house, a dog was sitting and eating rice. Ravi laughed and said, “The dog eats rice.” Then a monkey was sitting on a tree and eating a banana. Ravi said, “The monkey eats a banana.” On the garden path, an elephant was walking slowly. It was eating sugarcane. Grandfather said, “The elephant eats sugarcane.” Ravi liked the animals very much. He watched them from a distance without disturbing them. Grandfather explained that animals need food and water. Ravi happily returned home. That day, he learned new things about animals.
