ಒಂದು ಸುಂದರ ಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಎಮ್ಮೆ ಇತ್ತು. ಅದು ತುಂಬಾ ಶಾಂತ ಮತ್ತು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಣಿ. ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಎಮ್ಮೆ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ರೈತ ಅದನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದ.

ಬೆಳೆ ಬೆಳೆಯುವ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಮ್ಮೆ ರೈತನಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ರೈತ ತುಂಬಾ ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಆಹಾರ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ. ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ಬಿಸಿಲಾದಾಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಎಮ್ಮೆ ಕೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ತಂಪಾದ ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅದು ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗಿ ಆಟವಾಡುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.

English Translation

In a beautiful village, there was a big buffalo. It was a calm and gentle animal. Every morning, the buffalo grazes in the field. The farmer took good care of it with love.

During the farming season, the buffalo helps the farmer. The farmer was happy and gave it good food. On hot afternoons, our buffalo takes a bath in the pond. It happily played in the cool water.
